UON DC-FC 1200 — 2 MWh Fleet Charging
The UON DC-FC 1200 is a containerised 2 MWh battery and DC fast-charging system built to charge large fleets and heavy plant without drawing that load straight from the grid. Housed in a standard 20 ft container with six charging guns, it’s designed for mining, ports, airports and other high-throughput industrial operations across Australia.
Key features:
- Up to 1 MW of total DC output across six CCS1/CCS2 guns, 200 kW shared per gun (1.2 MWh combined output capacity).
- 2 MWh onboard battery storage with three-level battery management for active cell balancing, rated for 5,000+ cycles at 90% depth of discharge / 80% end-of-life.
- No grid connection required – charge off-site and relocate, or add optional AC or 500 kW MPPT solar (PV) input for hybrid off-grid replenishment.
- 500 kW of industrial AC input/output capability.
- Built for demanding environments – rated −40°C to +55°C, up to 2,000 m elevation, with gas/smoke/temperature fire detection, Novec 1230/FK-5-1-12 suppression and C4 corrosion protection (C5 optional).
- 10″ touchscreen HMI/EMS with OCPP 1.6J, Modbus-TCP, IEC 61850 and IEC 104 protocol support for fleet and network integration.
- Optional mine & industrial package – reinforced panelling, high-visibility markings, reinforced lift points and sealed, protected charging cradles.
System Application
How the UON DC-FC 1200 Fits Your Site
The UON DC-FC 1200 can draw its charge from solar (PV string), a generator, an existing charging station or the grid, storing it onboard for on-demand DC fast charging across all six guns — no dependence on any single power source. It charges buses, trucks, excavators and other vehicles directly, and can also serve as backup power for factories, residences and data centres, or emergency power for disaster relief and event sites. OCPP over 4G connects it to a remote server for monitoring and firmware upgrades from anywhere.
