eVolve Smart Bollard

The eVolve Smart Bollard is an advanced floor-mounted charging station with an aluminium and ABS plastic enclosure. 

The station is fitted with two Type 2 sockets OR two Type 2 tethered cables. It has twin onboard Type B RCDs for protection against DC leakage. This is a legal requirement. The station can be connected to a local network via its Ethernet port or by a 4G modem to a mobile network.

The station is also available in a master/slave configuration suitable for clustered charging station installations where one station is used to command and control the other stations and act as a single communications gateway to the back end management and billing systems.

ALL ABOUT EVOLVE WALL BOX

The eVolve Smart T Wall Box can be either single phase (7kW) or three phase (22kW). It can be situated as 1 station per 2 parking spaces, with 1 or 2 sockets.

POWER SUPPLY

The output of kW can be dialled down via a software configuration change if the power supply is inadequate for the rating of the station. The output of kW can also be load balanced across 2 sockets.

ALUMINIUM AND ABS PLASTIC STRUCTURE

The charger’s housing, aluminium and ABS plastic have been combined in a robust structural design that provides protection to both mechanical stress and severe environmental conditions, increasing the charger lifespan and avoiding its replacement in just a few years.

Master - Slave: eVolve Smart Bollard

Application

Designed to minimise the initial investment (CAPEX) and the operating expenses (OPEX) when several chargers are required, this
solution is a combination of a Master charger and a set of Slaves
controlled by this Master. The whole system works as if all the chargers had smart capabilities.

Suitable for private installations such as company fleets or communities with a single administrator, and also for public access environment such as shopping centers, car parks, airports and others.

Concept Design

It has the same exterior design concept as the acclaimed
eVolve Smart series, and in addition to featuring modern lines and robust
housing, harsh weather conditions and user-friendly operation have also
been considered.

Features:

  •  The Master charger is capable of balancing the available power based on the number of charge points in use.
  • The Master can operate up to 8 Slaves (max. 18 charging points including the Master)
  • A single modem in the Master unit can be
    used for remote connection and back-office
    system integration
