Flexible matrix power switching

With flexible matrix power switching technology, vehicle can charge with 100% accurate power requirement and the capacity of power bank can be 100% used. This is the highest operating efficiency.

What is the flexible matrix power switching

24*20kW power modules in the power bank are split into 12 sets, each set has 2 power modules with 40kW charging power. These 12 sets charging power can be dynamically allocated to user terminals and distribute power according to different charging needs.

The benifit of matrix power switching

In the different SOC periods, requirements of charging power are different. 40kW charging power as a unit to fulfill various charging needs and provide 100% accurate charging power at "maximum power". Multiple user terminals share one 480kW power bank whch makes high efficiency operation of EV charger and EV charger station.

Higher power conversion efficiency to improve profitability of EVC station

Power conversion

Independent research and development of the power module, equiped with the third generation SiC MOSFET semiconductor with higher efficiency and three-level Vienna topology. The high perfomance of the device and the topology enable the peak efficieny of power module to reach 96.5%.

System active efficiency optimization

The distributed charger integrates the distribution system for control of 24pcs power modules in the power bank to ensure 50% load rate of power conversion module and 96% efficiency of the charging system. Compared with 95% efficiency, taking 6 vehicles charge with 80kW as an example, each 480kW EV charger can reduce energy loss of 5.26kWh per hour and is able to save 11519kWh electric energy every year for charging 6 hours a day.

The benefits of the Kempower charging system

THE BEST POWER VS. FOOTPRINT AREA RATIO IN THE FAST CHARGING MARKET

Due to the slim design and the modularity of Kempower S-Series charging satellite poles, they have the best power vs. footprint ratio in the fast charging market. The output of each charging pole can be up to 100 kW, 5 times as high as a standard charging pole of the same size. Thus, the poles can be arrayed in a formation where they take as little space as possible while charging, for example, four electric vehicles at the same time.

KEMPOWER POWER MODULE IS THE KEY TO SUCCESSFUL ULTRAFAST CHARGING

The two-channel 40 kW Kempower power module is the core of all our EV chargers. If more power is needed, just add a module. The modules are not dependent on each other, if one of them malfunctions the other still work perfectly fine.

Kempower charging system supports all the most common electric vehicle charging standards: CCS1, CCS2, CHAdeMO and Type 2 AC.

CLASS-LEADING CHARGING CABLE HANDLING MAKES THE CHARGING EASIER FOR EV DRIVERS

The charging cable included in all our fast charging stations has a patented cable management, preventing the cable from touching the ground. Due to the system, we can easily ensure that the cable won’t get dirty, wet or frozen which elongates the maintenance intervals. The cable is also longer than standard fast charging cables, so the maneuvering of the cable and charging the EV is effortless even though something is blocking the way to the charger.

INTUITIVE TOUCH SCREEN MAKES FAST CHARGING EXPERIENCE EASY FOR THE EV DRIVERS

The 7” touch screen display guides the EV driver through the fast charging process. The user experience is formed with graphic elements. The minimum amount of text means less hassle with language selection and no need for tailored translation processes.
